Split into 9 classes, Jyotish 101 covers the 12 signs, the 9 planets, and the 12 houses of Vedic Astrology, and also some of the most commonly used combinations of Vedic Astrology. It's suitable for the serious beginner astrologer, the yogi who wants to learn more about an important branch of the Vedas, and also the person who just wants to decipher the mysterious celestial language for yourself. The Nakshatras are the 27 lunar constellations of the Vedic Civilization, and have been in use for at least 9,000 years. In this module, we will be going through all the symbolism of each Nakshatra, bringing them to life using modern example charts. Each Nakshatra is ruled by a Vedic god, and this class also demonstrates how to apply the associated archetypal stories to a person's chart and life. Recommended prerequisites: Jyotish 101 |
